Learn more about the creators of flatfinder
It was while working alongside our French expatriate friends, struggling as much as we did during their search for accommodation in Quebec, that we had the idea of creating Flatfinder, a housing alert service for PVTists. Trying to find accommodation when you are a foreigner from a crowded city where housing is obviously clearly insufficient was a significant stress linked to our arrival in Quebec and our participation in the Canada Working Holiday Program . It was clear that a need was being left unfilled, so we seized the opportunity and founded Flatfinder.
Co-founder and system administrator of Flatfinder
A graduate of the CESI School of Engineering in systems and network engineering, Jean first worked as an independent Linux consultant before founding Flatfinder alongside his business partner, Antoine. He is passionate about green energy and the environment and will provide you with efficient and welcoming customer service.
As a system administrator, Jean will make it his duty to optimize your search parameters so that you are guaranteed to receive all new housing announcements in Montreal before anyone else.
Tell us about your housing needs in Montreal and indicate your search criteria. Apartment 1 ½, or 6 ½, with or without garden, near the Berry-UQAM station or the Jean-Talon market, we will adjust our advanced filters according to your requests.
Co-founder and developer-designer of Flatfinder

His in-depth knowledge of IT administration will allow you to be notified of new apartments available as often as every 10 minutes.
As project developer, Antoine guarantees you the best possible results in terms of Internet monitoring and Web display notifications.
Through his human and professional approach, Antoine will be happy to accompany you for a smooth establishment in the Quebec province.
For each order, a tree planted
Deforestation is one of the main drivers of climate change. It comes in many forms: wildfires, agricultural clearcutting, cattle ranching, and logging, among others. Forests cover 31% of the earth's surface, and each year, 75,700 square kilometers (18.7 million acres) of forests disappear. Massive deforestation continues to threaten tropical forests, their biodiversity and the ecosystem services they provide.
Flatfinder has partnered with Tree Nation, whose goal is to reforest and reduce the most pressing threats to the diversity of life on Earth.Every time you place an order, a tree is planted!
Tree-Nation is the reforestation platform that brings together in one place the largest number of tree planting projects in the world. In each project, species are carefully selected based on the specific benefits they provide to the environment and local people. Each tree planted on the Tree-Nation platform is assigned a unique URL, meaning that the species, location, planting project information and CO2 offset values can be tracked throughout its life. of the tree.
